Unlike traditional calendars that fix tasks to specific dates (e.g., "every Monday"), Bobby calculates the next due date from when you actually completed the task. If you clean the bathroom every 7 days and do it on Wednesday, the next one is due next Wednesday — not the following Monday. This adapts naturally to your real rhythm.

No. Bobby creates an anonymous account automatically when you first open the app. You can start using it immediately with no email, no password. If you want to back up your data or sign in on another device, you can optionally link a Google or Apple account later from your profile.

Open the list, tap the share icon to generate an invite link or QR code. Send the link — they tap it to join instantly. You can also scan QR codes directly from the app. Members can view, complete, and be assigned tasks. Admins can also create and edit tasks.

Yes. Bobby stores everything locally on your device. You can create tasks, complete them, and browse your lists without any internet connection. When you're back online, changes sync automatically across all your devices and shared list members.

Each task has a difficulty level (easy, medium, hard) that determines the base points awarded on completion. Completing tasks on time or early earns full points. The leaderboard shows rankings per list, encouraging friendly competition among list members.

Recurring tasks repeat on a floating interval (e.g., every 5 days) and show urgency bars. One-time tasks have a single due date and the same urgency display. Memos are simple checklist items with no date and no score impact — perfect for shopping lists or quick notes.

A household groups people who live together — family, couple, roommates, etc. When someone in the household subscribes to Premium, all members benefit automatically. Only one subscription needed for the whole household. You can create a household from your profile and invite others with a link or QR code.

When any member of a household subscribes to Premium, every member of that household gets Premium access. There's no need for each person to subscribe individually. If the subscriber cancels, the shared access ends when the subscription period expires.

A list is a collection of tasks that you can share with anyone — it's how you organize and collaborate on tasks. A household is a group of people who share a Premium subscription. They're independent: you can share lists with people outside your household, and household members don't automatically see each other's lists. Lists are for tasks, households are for billing.

Each list has roles that control who can do what. The owner has full control (edit, delete, manage members). Admins can create and edit tasks, and manage members. Members can view tasks, complete them, and be assigned — but can't create or edit tasks.

Bobby is free to use with generous limits. A Premium subscription unlocks additional lists, more members per list, and extra features. One subscription covers your entire household.

Go to Profile > Account in the app. You'll find the option to delete your account. This permanently removes all your data from our servers, including tasks, completions, and profile information. This action cannot be undone.

Anonymous by default — No email or personal info required to use Bobby.
Minimal data — We store only what's needed: tasks, completions, list memberships, and profile nicknames.
No tracking — No analytics trackers, no ad networks, no data sold to third parties.
Data deletion — Delete your account anytime from the app. All data is permanently removed.
Encryption — All data in transit is encrypted (TLS). Data at rest is encrypted on Google Cloud.
